IUCr2026: Stay Connected & Stay InformedGet ready for an unforgettable scientific experience at the 2026 Congress of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr2026), taking place in beautiful Calgary, Alberta! This global gathering of crystallographers, scientists, and researchers will feature cutting-edge science, networking opportunities, and a vibrant program celebrating the full breadth of crystallography and structural science. Your Voice Matters — Stand with the AUC
Our community is at a turning point. On January 1, 2026, the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) will step down as the U.S. adhering body to the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr), bringing an end to the U.S. National Committee for Crystallography (USNC/Cr). To keep the United States represented on the global stage, the newly formed American Union of Crystallography (AUC) is stepping forward as an independent, transparent non-profit dedicated to advancing research, education, outreach, and the responsible stewardship of vital legacy funds. Stand with the AUC—sign the petition today (membership in the ACA is not required) and help secure the future of U.S. structural science.
